Minutes of the Cathedral Brass 2016 Annual Meeting

The annual The Cathedral Brass membership meeting was called to order at 10:05 on November 19, 2016, by acting President Mark Herzing. Members present exceeded the number needed for a quorum.

Mark outlined the current status of, and anticipated programs for, December performances:

  • December 3 at Living Savior Lutheran Church
  • December 4 at the Vienna Presbyterian Church
  • December 9 at Old Town Hall, Fairfax, VA
  • December 18 at Vienna Presbyterian Church (Glorious Sounds)

He also discussed the current plans for the May 2017 concert featuring Danielle Talamantes.

The stated date for future The Cathedral Brass annual meetings was established as the second regular rehearsal of each new calendar year.

Respectfully submitted,
Roy Burgess
Acting Secretary/Treasurer

Thanks!

Thanks to all for a great first concert in our Russian Masterworks series. While the audience size was a bit less than expected, all seemed most pleased. Living Savior has invited us back to do a concert in the Christmas season.

Our next concert is Sunday, May 11th at 7:00 pm. Call for the brass is 6:00 pm. Dress is concert black.

Lance is having this concert recorded, so let's put on a great show!
